Tonight’s concert brings four world-class musicians together in a recreation of the gypsy jazz of the Reinhardt/Grappelli era.
John Etheridge has been described by Pat Metheny as ‘one of the best guitarists in the world.’ Equally at home on acoustic and electric guitar, his versatility is evidenced by the long list of top stars he has played with, including Dizzie Gillespie, Herb Ellis, Mundell Lowe, Nigel Kennedy, Pat Metheny, Birelli Lagrene and Barney Kessel.
Chris Garrick, son of pianist legend Mike Garrick, is a world-class violinist, lyrical and expressive, and consistently inventive. Completing the quartet will be Dave Kelbie on rhythm guitar and Andy Crowdy on bass.
