The Baddest Blues Band (Ever!)
8.30pm Monday 18th July 2011

Baddest Blues
Just in case you missed them the last time they played at the club in 2007 that’s “Baddest” in the sense “Bestest” (as I understand common parlance has it) and despite the bad press that the Blues gets as being one dimensional, “woke up this morning” clichéd music they will guarantee that you will have a great time, have a smile on your face and up on your feet dancing.

All the members of the band not only have solid Blues and Jazz credentials but between them have played with a bewildering array of talent as diverse as Django Bates, Harrison Birtwhistle, Keith Tippett, John Etheridge, Mose Allison, Diana Ross, George Shearing and Bill Bruford to name but a few…….

“Superb - a thoroughly modern mix of jazz and blues, combining a sense of history with their own contemporary influences.” - Blues Matters

Rob Koral, guitar
Zoe Schwarz, vocals
Malcolm Creese, double bass
Pete Whittaker, Hammond organ
Si Genaro, harmonica
Paul Robinson, drums
